Our Beginner session is for newcomers and features our smallest wave setting, known as Waikiki. These gentle peelers provide a user-friendly experience that is perfect for catching your first waves and learning to stand up.

This session also includes group coaching and gear to help get you started on your surf journey. 

Coached sessions include 30 minutes of pre-surf instruction followed by a 55-minute surf session. End your experience with a 10-minute recap and lots of high-fives!

Be sure to show up at least 30 minutes before your chosen surf time to check in and get ready! 

Our Novice session is for surfers who have mastered the Beginner session and want to start riding slightly larger open-face waves that break at a mellow pace. This setting features our smallest Malibu-style waves, the Malibu 0.5 (M0.5) and the Malibu 1 (M1). It’s perfect for those looking to master catching a wave before it breaks, standing up, and turning down the line.

Includes: Soft top surfboard and wetsuit (not required

The Malibu 2 (M2) and Malibu 3 (M3) settings are ideal for surfers who can consistently paddle, drop-in, and take-off, mastering cruising along the open face, and beginning to perform turns down the line. For longboarders, it’s a great opportunity to work on noseriding. Longboards, grovelers, and soft top surfboards all work well in this setting. Soft top surfboards and wetsuits are included and available upon request for our Progressive session!

As Atlantic Park's take on the world-famous Malibu point break, it is perfect for those looking to cruise down the line, practice flowing carves, or putting your toes on the nose of your favorite log.

This session includes a unique offering of waves for our bodyboard community. Bodyboarders will begin with our Barrel 1 (B1), a powerful and technical wave that starts with an open turn section and finishes with a tube that will excite our most experienced rider. Then, we switch to a new wave, the GROWER. The grower is a heavy wave that barrels on take off and grows throughout the section, putting your barrel riding skills to test.

This session is for the highest level bodyboarders only! HELMET RECOMMENDED - If you don't have a helmet we have them here for you to borrow for free!
